Bio
João Novais, is a Portuguese musician, doublebass player, composer, arranger and teacher, born in 1982 in the city of Almada.
In the 1990s, he became involved in music and dedicated himself exclusively to this art, starting his training in classical music and jazz. The double bass became his instrument of choice and since then he has dedicated himself exclusively to it.
He graduated in Jazz Music and in Music Education. Currently, he divides his time between pedagogy, the instrument, and artistic projects.
